FOOD FIGHT

HELIOS FINE ART invites submissions for the upcoming gallery exhibition called FOOD FIGHT. The exhibition will take place at its main gallery located at 1025 South 1st Street Suite 150, Las Vegas, Nevada.
THEME
FOOD FIGHT: On the surface, the concept of food is free from strife. We think about the comradery of meals with friends, the joy of cooking, the pleasure of eating. For FOOD FIGHT, Helios Fine Art seeks to explore the nature of alimentary conflict–from the harmless violence of shredding lettuce and smashing tomatoes, to the impact of post-colonial agricultural policies, to the absence of food itself: there’s a fight going on, so knuckle up and give us your best shot.

Exhibition Dates from August 6th – 27th
JPEG’s due July 2nd, 2021
Local drop off work July 30th, 2021 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Art that’s being shipped must arrive by July 30th no sooner than the 23rd.

UNSOLD art work MUST be picked up no later than Sept 3rd, 2021.
ENTRY FEE
$25.00 for 3 images. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee entry.
ELIGIBILITY
This call is open to artists worldwide both amateur and professional.
SUBMISSION DETAILS
Artists of all media are encouraged to apply. Digital and Film media needs to include ALL hardware required to display the work. ALL works must be for sale.

FRAMING
Framed work must be fitted firmly in frame with wire for hanging. No sawtooth hangers. Poorly presented work will not be hung.
ARTWORK DELIVERY
Shipping, return shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the artist. Delivery instructions will accompany email notification of acceptance. Purchase of return shipping labels is the responsibility of the artist. All artwork must arrive by the scheduled receiving date.
